Edward Garnier, MP for Harborough Oadby and Wigston has commended the members of Ovation, a group of Young Enterprise students from Guthlaxton College. Ovation as part of its Young Enterprise project has developed a range of products offering information and advice for young people applying for jobs. The literature they have created varies from guidance on the best way to present a Curriculum Vitae to preparation for job interviews and technique. The Guthlaxton College students who have formed Ovation include Karan Mangal, Jaideep Dhaliwal, Roop Tara, Alexander O’Connell and Naomi Ruth-Green.
Commenting Edward Garnier said, “At a time when the young find it hard to get a job, the work of this Young Enterprise Group is outstanding. Ovation has recognised that there is a demand for this kind of information and have developed their product accordingly. I applaud their efforts and wish them every success in the future. This good work has been noticed by the Prime Minister, so they know how to get the right sort of attention.”
