Sir Edward Garnier MP, for Harborough, has written to Paul Stone, the Head Teacher of Kibworth Primary School, to congratulate the school on its award of the Naace (National Association of Advisors for Computers in Education) ICT Mark award.
The ICT mark is recognition of a school’s achievements in reaching a standard of maturity in the use of technology. It is also evidence that the school has undergone an extensive and thorough review of its use of ICT. The award of the ICT Mark is made when a school has satisfied an Assessor that their plans and provisions have met or exceeded the national standard following use of the Self-review framework.
Sir Edward said, “I am delighted to hear that Kibworth Primary School has been granted this award and I have written to congratulate the Head, Paul Stone. At a time when technology is becoming an increasingly important part of daily life, it is vital that children are acquainted not only with how to use it but also to be able to explore the world of education it provides.”
