Conservative run Harborough District Council has approved at the budget setting meeting of the full council on Monday 23rd Feb to reduce it's share of the Council tax by 5%, yet at the same time it will be investing over £1M in service improvements and local community initiatives. Additionally a £10M 4-year capital programme was also approved. All these measures were voted against by the  Lib Dems.
